San Diego, CA- (May 9, 2001)-A Dayton, Ohio based Christian newspaper received top honors during the Christian Newspaper Association's annual newspaper awards ceremony on May 5 in San Diego, California.

A home-cooked education for 12 grads Twelve area students will be given high school diplomas by their parents at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Washington Heights Baptist Church on Far Hills Avenue. The graduates have been home-schooled and will participate in a ceremony sponsored by their families and PEACH (Parents Educating at Christian Homes), a local home school support group. More

Classroom Ten Commandments controversy in Kentucky gains momentum The controversy regarding the posting of the Ten Command-ments began in Kentucky when the U.S. Supreme Court in the 1980 case of Stone v. Graham ruled that the Ten Commandments posted on a classroom bulletin board were unconstitutional. The court ruled that students may be induced to venerate and possibly obey the dictates of the Ten Commandments. In the majority opinion, that was ruled unconstitutional. More
